Are you feeling like you have a sign on your website that says No Pedestrian Traffic Allowed . We now live in what is known as the information age. People are very thirsty for information.

That means, if you want to increase traffic to your site you need to provide more information. Just think about this for a moment. Over a billion searches a month are done on Google alone for what? INFORMATION!

People want answers to their questions and solutions to their problems. Of course I can go into details about every possible way you can go about increasing traffic to your website, but I will tell you about one way that is extremely effective and powerful.

What I am talking about is article marketing. I am sure you have heard a lot about it but are you using it to its full potential. You see, in my opinion this is probably the easiest and least expensive thing you can do to give your traffic a boost.

No, you don’t need to write 50 articles a week to see significant changes in your traffic. Just one or two articles a day submitted to the right place will make a world of difference.

One of the best things you can do is submit your articles to niche directories.

These are directories that are about one specific topic. Most of these directories get a ton of visitors each and every month. So you can easily benefit from that.

You can also write articles and post them on blogs as a guest blogger. This is a great way to get more traffic as well. A lot of blog owners don’t have time to add new content to their blog on a regular basis. So by finding a few high traffic blogs in your niche, you will be able to increase your traffic very quickly.

For the most part it’s about getting a link to your site in as many important places as you can.

If you are running a proper business on the internet then you should have that business and traffic it receives under a microscope!

When it comes to checking your search engine ranking, you can go about this one of two ways. You can either do it manually or you can get software and have it down automatically. Using software to check rankings has quite a few advantages. The biggest advantage is that you can check your rankings on multiple search engines all at once. And usually you can plug in all of your keywords at once which makes the process much quicker.

No matter which way you choose to do it, make sure you check your rankings on a regular basis. You need to see where that traffic is coming from so that you can apply the 80/20 rule to your hard work. The Traffic Challenge is over kind of sad moment in some ways, in others it is a relief.

Either way you look at it was a fun ride and a bonding experience for many marketers.

There are many good things that came from the Traffic Challenge in my opinion. The most important thing in my opinion was the way that it made us bond together and help one another. Now I know what you are thinking right now, has he gone crazy? Yes I said help one another because some marketers were ahead of other marketers and you could feel their frustration.

Let me explain a little more detail before you get the wrong impression here. First off we all learned a lot about driving traffic rather you were at the beginning level or you were advanced.
